🤒 Common Symptoms You Shouldn’t Ignore

If you have any of these, consult a doctor immediately:

  • 🔺 Sudden high fever
  • 💀 Severe body ache or joint pain (“breakbone fever”)
  • 🌊 Nausea or vomiting
  • 💫 Headache behind the eyes
  • 🩸 Skin rash or bleeding gums
  • 🌙 Extreme fatigue or low blood pressure
  • 📉 Drop in platelet count (blood test)

🔍 Fever of Unknown Origin? What It Could Mean

  • Viral infections (like Dengue, Influenza, COVID-19)
  • Typhoid, Malaria, or Tuberculosis
  • Heat stroke or drug reactions
  • Autoimmune or rare conditions
  • Don’t self-medicate or wait it out.Your body’s alarm deserves a doctor’s attention.

🏥 When to Rush to Emergency

  • Persistent vomiting
  • Bleeding from nose/gums
  • Swollen abdomen or difficulty breathing
  • Platelets below 20,000
  • Altered sensorium or seizures

✅ What You Should Do Right Away

  • 🧪 Get tested—CBC, Dengue NS1, Malaria, etc.
  • 🚫 Avoid painkillers like ibuprofen (risk of bleeding)
  • 💧 Stay hydrated—ORS, coconut water, juices
  • 🛏 Rest and avoid strenuous activity
  • 📞 Visit your nearest clinic/hospital for evaluation

🌼 Reminder: Prevention is Better Than Panic

  • Use mosquito repellents and nets
  • Clear stagnant water around home
  • Wear full-sleeved clothes during outbreaks
  • Follow up even if initial tests are normal
